3. Data Storage and Security

We store user account and platform data using Supabase, a third-party cloud infrastructure provider, which hosts our database and manages authentication. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data.

However, no system is completely secure.

We do not sell personal information. We may share data:

With service providers who support the operation of the platform
In anonymized or aggregated form for research or analytics purposes

We retain account data for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations.

You can delete your account at any time directly from your account settings within the app. Deleting your account removes your account record and associated personal data from our systems. You may also request deletion or exercise any of the rights above by contacting privacy@axiolens.com.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and platform functionality. We also use PostHog, a third-party product analytics service, to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. PostHog may set cookies and store identifiers in your browser to measure usage and feature interactions.

When you first visit Axiolens, we ask for your consent to analytics cookies. If you decline, analytics capture is disabled. You can also manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, and we honor “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals where supported.

8. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and processed in the United States.

9. Children's Privacy

Axiolens is not directed to individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Third-Party Research Content

Paper metadata and abstracts displayed in the Service are sourced from publicly available repositories, including arXiv, OpenReview, and Hugging Face. Thank you to arXiv for use of its open access interoperability. This research content remains subject to the licenses and terms of its respective sources, and is not personal information about you.

11. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months. Because we do not sell or share your personal information, there is no need to opt out of such activity. The “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer points to this section to confirm our practice.
